TEMPTU

 temptu1

I GOT IT! I was going to ask for it during Christmas but I couldn’t wait!

The wonderful Temptu!!! AMAZING! It really is! I would give it 9.5 out of 10. None the less, a great investment.

Okay, where do I start? Ahhhh yes! Whether you should buy it or not?

PROS – The foundation lasts…. I mean really lasts! Temptu foundation doesn’t need a primer! You can choose if you want to apply it heavy or light and even if you do decide to apply it heavy, you do not look like a powder face in the end! It makes my skin look flawless! Forget a mess, temptu isn’t messy! It’s easy to put the system together! I could go on!

CONS – Now…I know and I have read the reviews where it is easy to apply but, I still need to get used to it (but it doesn’t take a dummy to apply it). The plastic on the unit seems like it could easily break with one wrong move, care as it is easily fragile. Apparently the pods run out quick if daily use, which this applies to me! The Pods are not cheap! And the system itself is heavy on the wallet also.

MAC SET.

So Santa was very good to me this season!

I got a pair of uggs in tall classic and by my mom’s mistake of ordering two of the same pair of short classic uggs in black for my sister, I got the second pair! Some Victoria Secret perfume from my wonderful sister. 11 Sephora brushes from mom and dad! 50 dollars from grandma! May seem like a lot to some, very little to others but for me, it was perfect!

Alright, so I totally treated myself the day after Christmas. Maybe a little too much, now that I’m broke! Ah!

This is what I bought! Great for “newbies”.

MAC Prep + Prime  this is a must! Before you put anything on your face you must put a primer on! Why? Because if you don’t for most of us it will look clumpy and un-even. It will also look like she put too much on.

MAC Mineralize Satinfish SPF 15 Foundation (color NC42)   Amazing! And a wonderful foundation for beginners!

MAC Select Cover-up in NC42  I love this concealer! I put this around the eyes only, I have another concealer for whatever else I want to conceal on my face.

MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC42 This is a must have too! Powders will set your foundation and concealers. For instance if you don’t; have you noticed that after awhile your make-up will look blotchy??? That’s because you aren’t putting on powder to set your make-up.

Urban Decay Shadow Primer Potion is an eyeshadow base. You need to have some kind of primer applied prior to applying eye shadow or it will look clumpy. I got this from Sephora

MAC Eye shadow in Heat Element  AHHH, love the color, they go so well with my eye color, blue. Check out the picture below.

Also some of the brushes my mom and dad bought.

Okay So now to my personal life! I am soooo excited for new years… well kind of. I’m mainly excited to wear my new outfit!!! I’m going to a black&white party. No clubs… they charge too much on new years (ridiculous). Anyways, so back to what I’m wearing! Shhhhh…... Between you and me, I’m wearing white pants with black suspenders and a black corset with a white lace up! I never usually wear stuff like that. I am always wearing dresses and such to these events. I’m going to do my hair up like in Beyonce’s new music video “single ladies”. Teehee!

E.L.F.

http://www.eyeslipsface.com/

First and foremost everything you buy is one dollar! You seriously can’t beat that! I bought some stuff off of there and I can tell you my dollar went a long way.

These are my favorites that I bought from there! 5 dollars I spent for these! I love the concealer brush. This brush is good for the small areas! I also love the eyeliner, smells a little funny but great!

I bought a powder brush as well, but I give it an F because it was rough on my face, I didn't like it. I also bought a lip-gloss and didn't like it either. However some of the cosmetics are awesome! I wouldn't recommend buying the brushes; cheap brushes are bad brushes and are usually not soft. BUT! The concealer brush is amazing! This is what I'm going for next:

Making a 12oz batch of moisturizing lotion

Making a 12oz batch of moisturizing lotion that’s even cheaper then buying basic generic lotion.  Plain, scent-free lotion! Great for babies and people with sensitive skin!

Tools

1-cup glass measuring cup

2-cup glass measuring cup

Saucepan. Large enough to fit the 1-cup measurer

Ingredients

¼ cup olive oil

1 ¼ cup water

¼ cup emulsifying wax, available at craft stores or online

Directions

Fill a small saucepan with water and set in on stove until it becomes like bath water.

Combine the oil and emulsifying wax into the heatproof 1-cup measurer and melt the mixture in the bath water.

Fill the 2-cup measurer with water and heat it in the microwave on high for 2 minutes or until it boils. (Alternatively, boil water on the stove and pour it into the measurer).

When oil/wax mixture has melted, pour into the water. Your lotion should now have the consistency of skim milk.

Let it cool slightly, stir with a spoon or chopstick and pour the lotion into a bottle while it’s still warm and pourable. Otherwise, it would be hard to pour the lotion into its container. If you’re using a wide mouth jar, then this is not an issue.

Leave the cap off to let it cool completely, but occasionally cap the lotion and give it a quick shake to help blend the mixture.

Ta Da!

I’ll show pictures tomorrow, when I have time to upload them on here. I’m at work, so I can’t do that right now.
